End Jew Hatred issues statement following arrests at Penn Station

International grassroots civil rights movement grateful for support of law enforcement.

(November 21, 2022, New York, JNS Wire) The international grassroots civil rights movement End Jew Hatred released the following statement after the arrest of two subjects at Penn Station on Saturday, November 19, in connection with a probe on threats to the Jewish community by the joint NYPD / FBI Task Force:

“We want to thank the NYPD / FBI joint task force and all law enforcement agencies for promptly acting to thwart this very real threat to the Jewish community.

We are grateful that the increasing threats against the Jewish community are being addressed and we expect to see vigorous prosecutions in all cases targeting Jews.

But we need more. The Jewish community is under siege. Just one day after these arrests, an extremist group of men marched through the streets of Brooklyn shouting that they are the ‘real Jews’ before protesting in support of Kyrie Irving.

This is why we must not tolerate casual Jew-hatred from personalities like Bella Hadid, Kanye West or Kyrie Irving. This hatred grows and spreads, and the Jewish community is under threat of violent attack from all sides.

We call on Mayor Adams, Governor Hochul, and all of our elected officials to loudly condemn Jew-hatred, including the hate group that marched through the city on Sunday. We need to know that we are protected, that our civil rights are enforced, and that our elected officials will act to impose consequences on Jew-hatred in order to prevent people from being indoctrinated into a culture of hatred and violence.”
